How does it work?
You pay in £75.00 every month & we give you an EXTRA £25.00 worth of wine
absolutely FREE every month! So your monthly total to spend on wine is
£100.00 but you only ever pay £75.00!
Note: There is a minimum subscription period of 12 months by Standing
Order ONLY.
How
do I get my Wine?
You can choose & collect your wine in the normal way from our Fine Wine
Cellar at Burwash Manor Barns in Barton, Cambs. Or we are happy to make a personal
selection on your behalf based on the wines you enjoy most. We are also happy
to deliver your wines for £12.00 (per 12 bottle case). Note: Delivery can be
deducted from your wine spending power (£100 - £12 = £88). In 2008 we will
also launch our storage service allowing customers to lay-down fine wine
under the correct conditions. There will be an additional charge for this
"storage service".
Do
I have to spend exactly £100 per month?
No, in real terms it would be difficult to spend exactly £100, so we are
happy to let you carry over or under to keep it simple, see below:
Carry over e.g.:
Month 1 Credit = £100. You only spend £90.
Month 2 Credit = £110. (£100 + £10 unspent from previous month)
Note:
There is no maximum to how much you can carry over, this means you can save
it up for a special occasion like Christmas.
Carry under e.g.:
Month 1 Credit = £100. You spend £115.
Month 2 Credit = £85. (£100 - £15 overspent from previous month)
Note:
The maximum you can carry under at any one time is £25.00 (if you regularly
spend more than £100 per month then we will suggest you upgrade your payment
to the next monthly payment level i.e. £150 + £50 FREE (total £200 to spend).
How
will I track my spending each month?
We will keep track for you, by keeping a record in the shop, which will be
updated every time you visit so you know where you stand every month. We will
also send you a statement with your goods if they are to be delivered. We
prefer, wherever possible to send you a statement via email every month. If
you are in doubt just call us.
What
wines can I choose from?
You can choose any wine held in stock. Our current portfolio of Fine Wines at
the Cellar is approximately 220. For all members of our Wine Buyers Group we
will provide a list for you to browse and select wines when convenient.
What
other advantages are there to being a member?
Your wine spending includes special offer & bin-end priced wine, which
further increases your spending power at no extra cost. At least once a year
you will be sent a FREE invite (including one guest) to a members wine
tasting evening, to preview new wines and on occasion to meet the winemaker.
A wine advisor available via email or phone to help match wines with food for
your dinner party or any other wine-related query. When you introduce a
friend to become a member you will receive a £20 Wine Voucher as a thank you.
